Where Does the Paint Go?

When you're finishing up your flip or rehab project, be sure to leave a sheet that breaks down all of the paint colors that you used for each room from the ceiling to the walls to the trim and also the exterior...gates, fences, decking and hardscape included! On the sheet, put the manufacturer's name, finish and colors just in case the buyer needs to do some touch up down the line. This helps them out so they don't have to try to do a color-match which can be a pain. If you have extra paint from that project, leave the paint cans behind and label them too. Store them nicely in the garage if they have one, in a cool area or underneath a sink. It's the little things that matter that always make a difference!
